Hazardous items
Lombard Recycling will dispose of any items deemed hazardous in the sense that they pose a security risk. When we arrange collection, we ensure that all our vehicles are 'live-tracked' by satellite navigation and if security sacks are used, the sacks themselves are destroyed with the material.
These items may include:
- Money-off vouchers
- Scratch cards
- Credit cards
- ID cards.
Items are shredded to EN15713 & then incinerated at a local incinerator - the heat generated is recycled into power .
